Massage Visit

First visit will take approximately 2hrs

following visits allow 1hr 30mins depending on horse & issues

An assessment of conformation & movement will be made before the massage begins, also a brief history of your horse shall be documented for future reference.

Lynn will spend a few moments getting to know your horse. Many horses have never experienced massage before & may find it all a little strange at first.

Every massage programme is tailored to meet the needs of each individual horse, taking into account workload / age / temperament / mental state ,etc.

Care & respect for your horse is Lynn's top priority, there are no forced actions, only gentle non-intrusive techniques are applied. A variety of massage strokes are used to relax or stimulate as required. Included in the session are some gentle passive stretches. As tensions are released, responses may include.

• licking & chewing
• yawning
• sighing
• eyes soften & blink rate is slower
• lowering head
• wind & rumbling gut noise

Requirements are:  Clean dry horse, preferably in familiar surroundings (unless at a competition of course) & a signed veterinary approval form

Lynn works only with veterinary approval or referral. An approval form is available to print off if required. Alternatively Lynn can arrange this with your vet.
